Why am I here? Why create a website and a blog?
I wanted to carve out a piece of the internet that was just for me. A place for creative expression without bounds. And to be quite honest, social media was feeling too heavy of a place for me to be.
It overwhelmed me.
The imbalance of consumption vs. creation became too much. I was unable to process my own thoughts and feelings while also consuming a large volume of others thoughts, feelings and art.
And so I find myself here. My own corner of the inter-webs. A place to ponder and write prose. A place to feel safe enough to express without the weight of unrealistic expectations and algorithms.
However you found yourself here, please know, I am grateful. If you are reading these words, I hope you can feel the love from my heart. If you connect with my writing, with my words, than they are for you.
